Location: Luminex Wellness & Aesthetics – Doral, FL
Job Type: Part-Time (4pm–7pm, 4 days/week, including Fridays)
Hourly Rate: $18–$20/hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bilingual Medical Assistant fluent in English and Spanish to support our clinical operations during afternoon hours. This role is essential in maintaining smooth clinical workflows, accurate documentation, and timely patient communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and document lab results in the EHR (PatientNow & ECW)

• Confirm laboratory appointments and ensure follow-up compliance

• Process prior authorizations for medications in coordination with providers

• Submit and track prescription requests and medical records releases

• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility

• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation

• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients in both English and Spanish

Schedule:

• Part-Time: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

• 4 days per week, including Fridays

Requirements:

• Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical assistant or clinical administrative role

• Familiarity with EHR systems (PatientNow & ECW experience preferred)

• Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorization processes

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Professional, punctual, and patient-focused demeanor

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)

• Experience in primary care, aesthetics, or wellness clinics
