Snapshot of key accountabilities of the Behavioral Health Clinician:
Deliver high-quality, trauma-informed clinical assessments and therapy using evidence-based methods such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR (if certified).
Provide services through a hybrid model (telehealth and in-person), ensuring consistency in clinical quality, documentation, and care.
Address a wide range of behavioral health concerns, including trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment issues, identity-related distress, and challenges related to social determinants of health.
Facilitate or co-facilitate group therapy sessions based on current patient needs and program priorities.
Conduct screenings and assessments for behavioral health and social determinant needs; document thoroughly using EHR templates.
Coordinate care planning and referrals internally and externally, leveraging platforms like Unite Us.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, billing entries, and discharge summaries.
Participate in team meetings, peer reviews, supervision, wellness activities, onboarding of new staff or interns, and community outreach when needed.
Experience/Education of the Behavioral Health Clinician:
Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Active Florida license as an LMHC or LCSW.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience delivering brief, evidence-based therapy to diverse populations.
Experience with trauma-informed care and adaptability across virtual and in-person settings.
Preferred experience working with LGBTQIA+ populations, perinatal mental health, or other specialty areas.
EMDR certification or other relevant clinical credentials preferred but not required.
Commitment to reproductive rights and the mission of Planned Parenthood.
Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Must be comfortable discussing sexuality, reproductive health, and related topics in an open, inclusive, and respectful manner.
Must meet CEU/licensure requirements and participate in required trainings.

Benefits and Compensation:
Salary compensation: Starting at $70,000. Commensurate with experience and credentials
Eligible for full benefits effective the first of the month following 30 days from your hire date
Paid Time Off accrues immediately but cannot be used until after 90 full days of employment
