Bakery Mixer Operator & Baker:

We're the world's largest producer of authentic handmade kolachi. This position is the backbone of the entire bakery, the process starts here. You will be operating mixing equipment and many other duties to produce doughs and fillings for the bakery production line. Some days you may be part of a mixing team, or others you may be running the show. This position is a great challenge to learn something new, with plenty of room to advance with a fast-growing family run business.

This position is very labor intensive, you'll be spending most of your day with mixing duties, which is lifting 50+ pound flour and sugar bags. Earn while you burn! In your downtime you'll be learning many other department duties such as baking, packaging, shipping and more.

Requirements & Qualifications:

~ Must be highly organized with attention to detail in order to accurately measure ingredients and operate machinery in a safe manner.

~ Excellent time management skills, and sense of urgency, to prioritize and execute batch mixing based on forecasting and production levels with the ability to adapt to rapid changes in production schedule.

~ Operate bakery equipment and tools such as mixers, ovens, dough dividers, line equipment, cutters, and material handling equipment, all with a focus on safety.

~ Perform daily cleaning and light maintenance of machinery used in department.

~ Perform pre and post operational checks daily for safety and sanitation.

~ Must be able to work overtime hours when deemed necessary for holiday demand.

~ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

~ Able to cope with unexpected events, flexible and adaptable in any situation.

~ Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Must be able to lift 150 pounds together with another employee.

~ Ability to work on your feet at a fast pace for extended periods of time.

~ Adequate vision to read small print.

~ Cleaning, packaging, shipping, and many other duties.

Duties, dependent on need:

~ Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications

~ Printing documents

Shift times:

Full-Time is M-F 7AM-3PM, with overtime when needed. Overtime is required during holiday seasons.
