Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers to determine their needs and provide recommendation(s) to solve problem; sale or service
  • Manage and oversee the service center’s workflow and scheduling RO’s for maximum labor efficiency
  • Order service parts, sublets, and other supplies as needed for service department
  • Opening & Closing of RO systems for accurate company accounting functions
  • Control, log, and verify expenses for proper service billing
  • Consult with mechanics regarding repairs, alternatives, and questions about service outcome to provide customer with repair information
  • Call customers to inform them of changes in service or to let them know their vehicle is ready for pick-up
  • Assist Sales with customer service to potential buyers for ongoing sales and high level of customer satisfaction
  • Assist in ensuring Sales Office, Customer Area, and Sales Lot are clean and organized
  • Develop and cultivate strong buying relationships with customers
  • Use company resources to improve efficiencies throughout service department
  • Sales marketing via online resources
  • Manage Petty Cash

Job Requirements:

  • Automotive service experience 2 years
  • Automotive Management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with Hollander software 5 years
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work with cash
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be dependable and willing to work independently
  • Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Must be very ethical.
