Customer Service: Provide excellent service to customers by answering inquiries, fulfilling parts requests, and assisting service technicians with part identification and selection. Stocking & Inventory: Oversee the stocking of parts and ensure proper inventory management. Assist with periodic stock checks and update records to reflect accurate inventory levels. Supervising Staff: Help supervise the parts team, ensuring high productivity and accuracy in fulfilling orders and assisting with department tasks. Vendor Relations: Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, track orders, and help negotiate pricing when needed. Sales Support: Assist in achieving parts sales targets by supporting marketing and promotional initiatives. Order Processing: Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately. Parts Delivery Coordination: Coordinate the timely delivery of parts to service technicians, ensuring all work orders are completed in a timely manner. Reports & Documentation: Prepare reports on parts sales, inventory levels, and other department-related metrics. Assist with budgeting and forecasting. Maintaining Cleanliness & Safety: Ensure that the parts department is well-organized, clean, and adheres to safety protocols. Pay Range. $60,000-$75,000 annually including all pay components Work Location 265 River St., Montpelier, VT Required Experience Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an automotive parts department, or related field. Supervisory or assistant manager experience is a plus. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems. Familiarity with parts ordering systems and software is preferred. Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage inventory and order processing systems. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive or business-related certifications preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry parts weighing up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
