About the Role: As an Area Relief DSP, you'll provide flexible, individualized care across multiple community-based settings. You'll fill in where needed, ensuring consistent support for adults with IDD. Responsibilities Include: 
  • Assist individuals with personal hygiene , grooming, bathing, toileting, and dressing
  • Support with meal preparation , feeding, and dietary needs
  • Help maintain a clean and safe living environment , including basic housekeeping tasks
  • Provide mobility and transfer assistance as needed
  • Follow individual support plans (ISPs) and behavior support strategies
  • Administer medications and document according to guidelines (training provided)
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with the individuals you serve
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance 
  • Ability to pass a national background check
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
