Job Description:
This position provides assistance to the anesthesia department by preparing medications, stocking, ordering, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and stocking supplies. This position is responsible for monitoring quality control and operation of equipment. The incumbent is responsible for transporting patient to and from the O.R., handling routine tasks related to patient care, and organizing equipment.Posting Specifics
Scope
1. Cleans, checks, restocks, prepares and maintains all anesthesia equipment and supplies for each surgical case. Ensures anesthesia machines are in surgical suites. Adds specialty equipment and supplies to suite set-ups. Assists in troubleshooting of equipment. Works closely with Biomed to resolve issues with equipment.
