Location- Bellevue, WA - Onsite role/No Remote

Job Description:


- Test websites, mobile applications, and software for accessibility compliance using assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice recognition tools).- Identify accessibility barriers in alignment with WCAG 2.1 and 2.2, Section 508, ADA, and other relevant accessibility standards and regulations.- Provide detailed reports on accessibility issues and suggest solutions or workarounds.- Participate in inclusive design reviews and provide feedback.- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure accessibility issues are resolved.- Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing using tools like WAVE, Axe, JAWS, NVDA, or other similar accessibility testing tools.- Assist in the development of test plans, strategies, and scripts for accessibility testing.- Work with individuals with disabilities to conduct user experience testing and gather feedback.- Stay up-to-date with current accessibility standards, assistive technologies, and industry best practices.- Experience with accessibility testing and knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2, Section 508, ADA).- Proficiency in using assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver).- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they impact accessibility.- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams.- Familiarity with automated accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, WAVE, Accessibility Insights).- Attention to detail and ability to think critically to identify accessibility issues.- Experience working with people with disabilities is a plus.
