Job Description

PlayQ is seeking a 3D Pre-Render Artist for a remote contract position. In this role, you will create high-quality stylized pre-rendered 3D assets for our flagship mobile game, Treasure Party. Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing stunning pre-rendered assets, including environments, characters, and props.
• Delivering polished images that meet project timelines and exceed quality benchmarks.
• Collaborating with 3D artists, animators, and designers to ensure seamless integration of assets.
• Applying advanced techniques in lighting, shading, and texturing.
• Translating feedback into actionable refinements.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline rendering processes.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a Pre-Render Artist or in a related role.
• Proficiency in Maya using Arnold for rendering and Photoshop for compositing.
• Strong creative problem-solving skills and knowledge of composition, lighting, and color theory.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
